The lemons can be well cultivated in the habitable areas in which Garhwa, Chatra, Daltonganj, Latehar districts come mainly. Here there is immense potential for planting of orange, seasonal, lemon etc. But as it has been seen, if these gardens are not properly maintained, their plants stop producing their plants before age and start drying. Called 'Citrus Decline', therefore, they need proper garden management for the abundance of lemon-grade fruit crops. This is being discussed in detail
Lemon Tree Information

Lemon cultivation is mainly in warmer areas. The lemon tree does not grow in cold weather.

Once planting a lemon tree, it can produce fruit for approximately 25 to 30 years. When fully grown, a tree can reach up to 30 feet height.

When you plant lemon trees, keep in mind that there is enough distance between the two trees. If the trees were nearby, they could have difficulty growing.

soil

Lime can be grown in every kind of soil. Light soil which is well drained, it is suitable for cultivation. For this the soil pH should be 5.5-7.5. They can also be grown in light alkaline and acidic soil. Light lambs are very good for cultivation of good drainage clay citrus.

Lemonade disease

The productivity of lemon-grade fruit in India is 10 to 30 tonnes per hectare. Which is many times less than the country. Biological hazard is fungus, bacteria, viruses etc. These diseases cause considerable decrease in productivity of lemon-grade crops. Nutrient deficiencies are caused by the effect of the environment, crop activity.

Canker disease

Due to this disease, deep black colored spots fall on the branches, leaves and fruits of the tree. Due to excessive moisture during the rain, the acute form of this disease is visible. Diseased fruits do not get the right price in the market.

Maintaining fertility of soil is essential for maintaining the quality of trees and the fertility of the soil. For balanced nutrition, fruits should be given 3 times in July, November and April in the soil and micro nutrient monthly twice in July and November. Dung should be provided once in February, fertilizer, phosphorus and potash in the beginning.

Irrigation

Lime seed plants should maintain moisture according to weather and climate and soil nature. During the development of the fruit, the plants should be adequate and irrigation should be arranged in the plants with adequate intervals. In lemon-size plants, the amount of per 100,000 liters of water per hectare per hectare per year is required in plants over 5 years of age. The drop-down irrigation system is best for its cultivation.

To give relief to trees

Lemon-grade plants have to stop irrigation water temporarily from 40-45 days (till 25% of the leaves fall), which is called stress. Growth of trees is stopped and after 40-45 days after irrigation is done, new leaves burst together in trees, on which flowers and fruits are found. Irrigation is stopped in December-January for the month of April and for Ambe Bahar in the month of April.

Leaf worm

The effect of these insects on oranges and lemon trees is seen on the year. The larval stage of this insect damages the new leaves. Due to which the trees soon become dehydrated.

Management

The control of these insects is Acetate 75 S.P. Sprinkle a solution of 2.0 grams of water per liter. Indoxacarve 8 E.C. Spraying at a rate of 0.75 ml per liter of 1 liter water prevents this pest.

Things to look for in the control of insects

Spraying of new flowers and leaves on trees should be sprayed. Other trees available in the garden should be destroyed. Complete arrangement of water exhaust should be done. At the time of proper growth of branches, cutting of branches should be done. Use of Diagnostic Fertilizers It should be done accordingly. The gravity of winter trees should be done so that more and more sunlight plants can be obtained.
